Loans FAQ
Can I get a payday loan?
If you're short of cash towards the end of the month, a personal loan could help but might be too big a commitment to take on if you just need temporary credit.
In this situation, a payday loan could be the answer. Also known as cash advances, a payday loan is simply a small value loan, usually in the range of £200 to £750 or so, which you borrow for a few weeks until your next pay day comes around, when the loan will be automatically repaid in full by direct debit.
Payday loans are quite expensive in terms of typical APR, at least when compared to lower rate unsecured loans, but can be a very useful service if you find you can't make ends meet one month, maybe because of an unexpected bill or expense.
